The spacer was developed for higher grade displays and is treated to have an aligning effect to prevent light from passing through the surrounding LC, thus to improving the overall quality of display. Many grades are available for each type of spacer. It is also possible to give other characteristics to each type.

Characteristics
If the aligment of LC around the spacer is disrupted, light will be passed in the affected area, leading to a lower display contrast.LC aligning spacer is treated so as not to disturb the alignment of the surrounding LC.A wide variety of grades is available for specific LC types and degreees of alignment force.
Various precision, color and surface treatment is available on clients' requirements.
